In today’s blog: Website is Ready for Holiday Orders + Baby Goat Update!
Howdy, Pasture Patrons! Christmas time is here and I have been working very hard on the website. The changes I have made to the products and website will hopefully make it easier for you all to make an order from here! I also got a logo!!
I am so grateful for each of you that aside from the Christmas discounts I have already made to the products, I will also be doing a code throughout Christmas for an additional 10% off your order, as long as you make the order through the website and are a subscriber. Again, I would like to thank you all for helping me make my dream a reality. This has been one crazy ride for me and I have loved every minute of it. I love hearing how much you all enjoy your products and it means more to me that they help your skin! If you all have any extra recommendations for me, like new products, scents, or anything else, (like baby goat names) I will gladly take them!
Now, let’s get into all things CHRISTMAS!! It is my favorite holiday and now, as a business owner, it brings me even more joy. I love putting holiday orders together and I love thinking that a gift from me can bring someone else complete joy. That being said, I have tried my best to make the website easier to order from and take payments. It will be easier for all of us because we also have shipping and a local pickup location available for those that live in surrounding counties.
As some of you may know, all soaps take time to cure. Some soaps I can sell two weeks after making and some I wait up to 6 weeks to sell. The curing time is a big deal and makes a huge difference on how long the soap lasts. The recipe will depend on how quickly the bar will harden and be ready for use. On the other hand, lotions can be made to order and ready to use within 24 hours. I just have to have raw milk. For this reason, chances are I will sell out of soaps before I sell out of lotions. Just wanted to give you all a heads up so you can get a head start on ordering soaps before it is too late!
I have also added multiple new products to the website like goat milk moisturizer, exfoliating loofah soap, salves, and gift sets. Also, the winter seasonal soaps are on there too, cranberry, juniper berry and peppermint. When you go to shop on the website, be sure you get a good look at all of the products and read the descriptions if you aren’t sure if it is something you would want. All of the ingredients for each product are listed as well.
And now for the baby update. Horton is our new Nigerian Dwarf buck we just bought and he is adorable and so sweet! We are expecting babies in March 2022 from Starburst from the same buck she was bred to last year and the Nigerian Dwarf goats should kid sometime in the summer. We will keep you all updated on Facebook when we get that info so be sure to keep a lookout for some cute babies!
